Accentuate the positive; don't hide it!

As that old Johnny Mercer / Harold Arlen song says, "You've got to accentuate the positive; eliminate the negative." Don't post any photos or text without making sure they absolutely fit this rule. The photo above is supposed to be accentuating the fireplace, but the crowded mantel, odd wall hangings, and nearby entertainment system are negatives. Below is a staged fireplace. One suggestion: remove some of the photos on the window sill or position them so they block the neighbor's roof line instead of the tree.

NOTE! These photos raise important safety issues for your clients! Remember that the whole world is looking inside your clients' homes. Particularly if you post addresses, be careful not to include valuable electronics or other items in photos. And sadly, avoid family photos that clearly show children's faces.
